About the interpreter

My name is Kantarose Woolley. I am a professional Thai–English interpreter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with over three years of experience providing interpreting services to clients across the United States, both in person and remotely by phone and video.

I specialize in legal and court interpreting. I am a registered Minnesota Court Interpreter, and I am credentialed or listed on the court interpreter registries of Illinois, Colorado, New Jersey, Idaho, Kentucky, Washington, and Michigan. My courtroom experience includes hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, divorce proceedings, and small claims matters. I interpret in both simultaneous and consecutive modes, delivering the accuracy, neutrality, and composure that legal proceedings demand.

In addition to legal work, I am a CCHCP 40-hour certified medical interpreter. I help Thai-speaking patients and healthcare providers communicate clearly and compassionately in hospitals, clinics, and telehealth appointments — settings where every word matters.

I also serve families and communities in school meetings, therapy sessions, and immigration matters, including USCIS green card interviews and immigration hearings. I understand that these moments are often stressful, and I approach each assignment with patience, cultural sensitivity, and respect for everyone involved.

With experience spanning legal, medical, educational, and community settings, I bring not only language fluency but a deep understanding of both Thai and American cultures. Idioms, formalities, and unspoken expectations don't always translate directly — I make sure nothing important gets lost between the two.
